Video Insight:

“At First Sight” captures that moment when man and speaker know that they are meant to love one another.  The commercial was commissioned by Axpona to promote their 2015 Audio Con, where audio lovers can look AND touch, and immerse themselves in awesome music, advanced technology and stunning design of the finest consumer audio systems.

A messenger bird brought word from the neighboring kingdom, that our ally Running with Elephants was in need of a Director of Photography, so we answered the call and collaborated on their project.

With the tools of the trade, we shaped, bent and supplemented light, painting a warm subtle design that fit the tone of the commercial and fit the scene of our location at Audio ETC.   We also used a Canon C100 Mark II camera and Canon EF still glass, which did a great job capturing the warmth of the scene and of the actor’s skin tones.  Once again craftsmanship articulates the dream.  It was a pleasure collaborating with our ally Running with Elephants, cast and crew for this fun production.
